Bought as a replacement for the smaller version when my son’s head inevitably grew. Very useful if your kids are used to a specific helmet. He didn’t notice the difference. Soon after placing an order online I got a phone call just to confirm our kids head size and actually recommended to go for the larger of the two sizes. So we changed the order accordingly.
